It seems that all we ever get anymore is empty and vain promises from our politicians. To choose a candidate these days it's as if we have to determine who's lying the least. It's a shame when our decision for appointing an individual to the highest and most important office in the land, we have to choose between the lesser of two evils. With all of the advancement in society today, as far as our government is concerned, all I'm seeing is a political implosion.

They've Done It Again....
Once again our beloved "public servants" have shown just how much concern they have for the American people. While our farmers and ranchers are experiencing one of the most severe droughts in our nations history and our nation's security is at significant risk, what does congress do? They go on vacation, of course. Why not, they've managed to rack up a whopping 17% approval rating. The $383 million dollar emergency relief bill for the farmers and a bill protecting our nations dams and power grids from cyber terrorism will simply need to wait until good ole boys and girls return from their well deserved five-week vacation. Has anyone else out there gotten a vacation from your job as a reward for a 17% performance rating? I'd love to hear about it.

Wow!..... WOW! What a bunch of crap. Unbelievable how much our government has fallen from the good old days of..... well, the 1800's.... anyways, your blog is great. It is one of the three that I will be checking on constantly. I think that we need to help cause something to change in our governmental system. An no, not the change that Obama is offering, or the Chump Change that Romney is trying to give me.
ReplyDeleteLOL...1800's is right Andy. Our so called "public servants" have been selling us a bill of goods for decades now. I believe that all that they're concerned about is money and power. All anyone has to do is look at how rich they are when they leave office. Some of them go from barely being able to raise enough money for their initial campaign to becoming worth hundreds of millions of dollars. Sure makes you wonder. I still vote being that it's my civic duty and people died for me to have this priviledge but these rascals....I mean politicians sure make it hard.
