It seems that all we ever get anymore is empty and vain promises from our politicians. To choose a candidate these days it's as if we have to determine who's lying the least. It's a shame when our decision for appointing an individual to the highest and most important office in the land, we have to choose between the lesser of two evils. With all of the advancement in society today, as far as our government is concerned, all I'm seeing is a political implosion.

Another Presidential Debate and 20 More Days...
Well it's coming down to the wire folks. We're just twenty days away from the election. President Barak Obama and Presidential hopeful, Mitt Romney go head to head for the final debate tonight and I'd be surprised if they both don't come out with guns blazin. Especially Obama, since he really took a whippin in the first debate and to come with another dismal performance could easily seal his fate. On the other hand, you have to wonder if we'll really see any specifics as to how either of them intend to turn our country around to becoming the respected world leader that we've enjoyed for the past century or will they spend the majority of the debate bashing on each other. Are politicians ever going to come to grips with the fact that the American people are sick of that nonsense. We want to see results and hear the well thought out plans that will bring about positive results. Not see how masterfully you can air out this other guys dirty laundry. I know...I'm ranting....but it's my blog, so I can. Enough of me....what about you? Will you watch the debate tonight? If it's passed and you've seen it already, what are your thoughts? Was there a clear winner? Regardless of who wins the debate and eventually the election...do you suppose they will be able to turn our nation around? Exactly what will it take to get us back on track??? If you ask me...Nothing Short of a Miracle!!!

There was no real obvious winner this round. I think both of them slipped on a few rocks. ( I almost think Ryan should be the P and Romney the VP ); half the debate looked like a big cat fight. But I will say, that performance wise, I'd stand on Romney's side, if I had to choose.
ReplyDeleteThe sparks really were flying weren't they. At one point they looked like they wanted to throw a few blows. What a sight that would've been.
