It seems that all we ever get anymore is empty and vain promises from our politicians. To choose a candidate these days it's as if we have to determine who's lying the least. It's a shame when our decision for appointing an individual to the highest and most important office in the land, we have to choose between the lesser of two evils. With all of the advancement in society today, as far as our government is concerned, all I'm seeing is a political implosion.

The First Debate
Well they've had their first debate and the results are in. Everyone has there opinion as to who they think won the debate between President Obama and Mitt Romney. Most people will simply say that "their candidate" won. The Twitter responses would probably be the most accurate response from the public. The Twitter tallies actually showed that 20% more debate watchers felt that Romney won this first round. What are your thoughts? Did you watch the debate? Was there an obvious "Winner" to you? If you missed the debate I've attached video links of the debate below. Be my guest and enjoy.

I hate to say it but I think Obama flopped! In every political arena this man excels. He was under matched and somehow looked came off looking amateurish and unprepared.
ReplyDeleteAs for Romney killing the PBS network was a hand grenade that he can’t possible run fast enough to get away from.
My nephew put it best "The election is like buying a hamburger from McDonald's or Burger King, both are crappy and some rich guy gets paid either way."
LOL. No doubt Earl...and we get stuck holding the tab.
DeleteI don't think either one seemed all that prepared. I've had my fair share of 'winged speeches', I'd recognize when people wing a speech or response. Although it seemed like Obama was winging it more often than Romney. It's a gamble, it doesn't always come out pretty. Anyhow, with possibly more to come, we'll see if it gets any better.
ReplyDeleteI'm sure they'll both come much prepared in the next debate. Especially Obama since he's all but admitted that he got whipped in this first round.
